Our story

As a child, I remember being outside at my grandparents house and smelling the pies and cakes my grammy made. When family and friends would fill the house, she made them feel comfort by the means of her dessert staples. Whether it was her famous sweet potato pies, or her infamous coconut pineapple cakes, my grammy’s desserts were filled with the love that she had for people.

My grandmother taught me entrepreneurship by baking and selling desserts, often staying up all night to prepare treats for the next day’s bake sale. Although my grammy is no longer here, she instilled in me the values of hard work and deep love.

O'Sweet Edith’s desserts is a small piece of the legacy she left that will last for generations to come.
